๐ŸŒŸ Safety Week 2026: Take care of yourself... and make the most of it! ๐ŸŒŸ

By Barbara Polmans ยท 25 September 2026

Your health, your safety and your well-being are essential. That's why your ALEBA Health & Safety Delegate Daniel Heymann is once again organising, in collaboration with Real Estate & Logistics, the Safety Week 2026, which will take place from 28 September to 2 October.

On the programme: useful, enriching and sometimes even surprising activities to discover new practices, take care of yourself and share friendly moments with your colleagues:

โค๏ธTraining on the use of a defibrillator
๐Ÿ‘ฃ Reflexology
๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ Smoothie bike
๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘“ Vision and hearing tests
๐ŸŽ Practical workshops on nutrition and healthy eating

This week is the ideal opportunity to take a break from your daily routine, learn useful skills, discover good habits for your health, and contribute together to an ever safer and more pleasant working environment.

Most activities will take place around lunchtime and are open to everyone. We encourage you to check the full programme, sent by email or available on SF, and to sign up for the sessions that interest you.
Take some time for yourself, discover new initiatives and join us in large numbers during this Safety Week! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Daniel Heymann's action as ALEBA Health & Safety Delegate is built around our 2024 electoral commitments regarding health and well-being at work:

- The quality of your environment and working conditions remains at the heart of our concerns
- We want to strengthen everyone's training in safety and first aid ("life-saving actions" training).
- We want to introduce awareness training on burnout and mobbing/bullying (definitions, how to diagnose, how to react, who to contactโ€ฆ).
- We want to set up more thorough eye examinations, as well as hearing tests.
- Alongside the relocation project, we are calling for a comprehensive audit of working conditions, so that everyone has, today and tomorrow, a quality individual workstation in terms of space, lighting, sound comfort, ventilation and heating. We are also calling for consideration of more ergonomic alternatives (swiss balls, balance pads, height-adjustable desks, for example). In any case, it is not acceptable to suffer from cold during working hours.
