Your Permanent Delegate at Quintet and Chairman of the Staff Delegation since 2013!

I am 47 years old, divorced, and the father of Antoine (15) and Romain (13), and I have dual Belgian-Luxembourgish nationality.

I became a member of the KBL/Quintet Staff Delegation in 2003. For a long time, I sat on the Joint Works Council and the European Works Council, as well as on the bank's Board of Directors. All these bodies, and all this experience, have helped me to develop my expertise and skills, which I use to the benefit of everyone.

In 1999 I joined KBL and started working in Human Resources, then moved to Organisation (in Luxembourg and in the Group) and finally to Institutional Custody & Settlement, of which I was Head until 2013. This varied career path has given me a good understanding of the bank, its activities and how it works. As a Staff Delegate, I firmly believe all of this is essential to be able to represent each and every one of you effectively.

From 2013 to 2021 I held the national post of General Secretary and was a member of the Executive Committee of ALEBA, the leading trade union in the Luxembourg financial sector. In this role, as well as taking part in negotiations on the Collective Bargaining Agreement, in particular I looked after the interests of all employees in the financial sector during the Covid health crisis.

Since 2017, I've had the honour of being President of the ALEBA Section at Quintet.

Since 2019, I have also been a member of the Chamber of Employees (Chambre des Salariés/CSL), where I am a member of the Executive Committee and also sit on several other committees. This national mandate, obtained thanks to your overwhelming support (with the top score for the financial sector in Luxembourg!), is an opportunity to make your voice heard at national level every day, with a particular focus on the laws that will shape tomorrow's world of work.

With everyone's support, I hope to continue the work we've started and to bring our projects to a successful conclusion at our bank, where the sea has been particularly rough for several years and remains so today: I'm not afraid of difficulties, that's my commitment.

I'd like to add that everyone is always welcome at my office, in complete confidentiality: for information or advice, for a small worry or a bigger problem, in case of doubt, or to share a difficult situation.

My personal interests include hiking, running, CrossFit and aquabiking! I enjoy classical music as much as Pink Floyd, and I love history, culture… and cooking! I give blood regularly, as I believe it's a small but genuinely important gesture when you're able to. I am also an accredited mediator with the Luxembourg Ministry of Justice.
