As a Belgian native living in Luxembourg for over 25 years, I've been working in the Lending department since 1999. Some of you may already know me from one of my duties: calculating interest rebates.
As a mother of three children in a blended family of seven, I guess you could say I am pretty used to challenges!
The only child my husband Jean-Paul and I have in common is called Riley and is a handsome golden retriever.
As a fan of nature and camping, I am lucky enough to own a motorhome with which we escape whenever we get the chance.
Defending the interests of my colleagues is always close to my heart, and my previous mandates have shown me just how important our role is and given me the feeling of being where I should be.
Dynamic, I like things to be fair and discussions to be frank. People who know me know that I can be tenacious when I am defending a cause that is dear to me, and that speaking out does not scare me. Knowing how to listen is important to me, but knowing how to hear is even more so, and that is what I apply myself to daily in my role as delegate and Vice-President of the delegation.
I love music, play the ukulele, sing, and paint on pebbles. I am extremely sensitive to the need to respect people and the environment, and I try to do my best every day.
I also work as a massage therapist specializing in massages for children and children with special needs, and recently obtained my acupuncture diploma after 4 years of study, during which balancing my professional and family life was a challenge that I am proud to have met.
Enabling every employee to achieve the best possible work-life balance is one of my objectives. There is still room for improvement in this area, as well as in the preservation of physical and mental health in the workplace, which is increasingly under threat.
